The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland - Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) campus in Busaiteen was illuminated in red and white last night in celebration of Bahrains 44th National Day.
Having gone green for St Patricks Day back in March - joining Romes Colosseum and Rio de Janeiros Christ the Redeemer in the Global Greening Campaign - it was only right that the university should join in with so many of Bahrains other most iconic buildings in displaying the national colours on this occasion.
As further celebration of National Day, RCSI Bahrain staff and students gathered to enjoy Arabic tea, coffee and sweets and were presented with Bahrain scarves.
RCSI Bahrain is a constituent university of RSCI, which was established in 1784. Like its Irish counterpart, RCSI Bahrain is a not-for-profit health sciences institution focused on education and research to drive positive change in all areas of human health worldwide.
